Soon Fouquet's fragrances became the talk of the town, but it was only when his paths crossed with a young American student, John F. Kennedy, that demand began to take off in earnest. The name "Eight & Bob" comes from JFK's order request: "Eight samples, and if your production allows, another one for Bob”.
